The Integral Accounting Enterprise 2007 Point of Sale system does not require any special hardware to operate either. If you don't have a touch screen, a few mouse clicks will do. If you don't have a special receipt printer, a regular printer will do just fine. The Integral Accounting Enterprise 2007 Point of Sale system will, however, work with all of the "Special" POS hardware as well. POS Hardware with uses standard windows drivers, like touch screen devices that operate like a mouse, scanners that feed the keystroke buffer, and receipt printers that use windows printer drivers, will work with the Integral Accounting Enterprise 2007 Point of Sale system without modification. Since the Integral Accounting Enterprise 2007 Point of Sale system comes with complete source code, any special hardware POS devices that you need to use can be integrated without modification as well.

The Integral Accounting Enterprise 2007 Point of Sale system is a sub-system of the Integral Accounting Enterprise 2007 package and requires the Enterprise System to run. What does this mean? This means that the Point of Sale system is completely integrated with the standard Integral Accounting Enterprise 2007 System. This means that all orders entered through the POS System get posted into the Integral Accounting Enterprise 2007 System, all of the inventory sold through the system will be properly debited and credited in the Integral Accounting Enterprise 2007 system, and the reports in the Enterprise system will reflect the POS Systems sales and activities.
